Though the buildings are provided with various fire detection and protection measure, however, the risk of fire is still a key concern for safety in any building. Complying to fire authority requirements for fire detection and protection are not enough and something more to be ensured to prevent fire from happening. To achieve a high-performance building design, the building should be analyzed for sun path, light, wind, energy, and comfort metrics. We study solay, thermal, lighting, visibility, and airflow matrices to compare and adjust design parameters.
